This week's tip:  Data + Intuition is a Powerful Combination

If you only knew what makes people tick…

Because you can’t afford to make another misstep in hiring, nor can you make a mistake in leading your team...

But you can add data to your intuition, and benefit from the best tools industrial and organizational psychologists have to offer.

I’m not talking about the personality assessments we’ve all tried, e.g., DiSC, StrengthsFinder, or Myers-Briggs.

I’m talking about behavioral data, that scientists and psychologists have validated, for use to demystify employee behavior in the workplace, ensure manager fit, and build teams with complementary strengths.

At the moment, I’ve only found one tool that has undergone rigorous scientific testing and research, takes only 6 minutes to complete, and helps design cohesive and collaborative teams.

That tool is The Predictive Index (PI). It has been so effective for my clients, that I’ve become a Certified Partner. This doesn’t mean that I’m not keeping my eyes open for other tools that work just as well, or better, but it’s the best I’ve found so far.
